The case and interior have been lovingly restored with a faux leather black covering and a deep MAROON cotton velvet interior. With new case clips and metal work but with the original late 1940's handle.

The control unit (all made of bakelite) has a single knob for controlling the power - it adjusts the tension of the tremblers and gives an excelllent range of sensations from low to high.

There is also a voltage selector so you can choose the correct voltage for your country. Its set to UK / Europe by default.

Naturally like all our devices, better results are obtained on a 240 volt supply so for those in North America an investment in a small 120V to 240V adaptor would be a good idea. They are about the size of a childs fist (40 watts) and cost an amazing $14 or so.

Naturally we have checked out the electrics and replaced the capacitor and the cables, re - insulated all the interior wiring, cleaned the tremblers and re-tuned the unit. We have fitted a UK plug - but for overseas customers we can fit anything you like - for free.

Please note, with the IXU we have also isolated the output from the mains, an adjustment we only ever have to do with a few makes.
