This Violet Wand / Violet Ray is sensational - a very large case lovingly restored using a hard wearing faux leather case covering. The interior is in a rich maroon cotton velvet with gold interior beading.

The control unit is a classic of 1950s/1960s design - with TWO hand pieces, each can be plugged in and used seperately or both TOGETHER

POWER is controlled by the large dial on the fascia and for the technically minded controls rheostat / potentiometer. There is also a smaller switch which also moderates the power, from low / medium / high. . Sensations therefore cover a wide range from low to high, with the power dial for fine tuning.

There is a metal plate in the wand handle which provides a return path for the wand output and if the user apply's their free hand to the recipient, they can see sparks flying from their fingertips. The metal rod operates in the same way only the recipient is meant to hold this to slightly increase the intensity of the wand output or to draw the current across selected parts of the body.

PLUS - There is a Timer for keeping track and an Ammeter to indicate power usage.

Naturally we carried out a full electrical restoration with new cables, double insulating all the internal wiring, replaced ALL the capacitors including those which isolate the metal hand piece coverings and re tuned and tested extensively. The high voltage coils in the hand piece were also vacuum potted.

The device works better on the 220V setting so we will provide a small step up tranformer for our North American customers.
