This stunning Fluvita has been lovingly restored with a rich cotton velvet interior and a lovely hard wearing faux leather case covering - often known as a BARONIAL - due to the parabolic arrangement of the electrodes in the case.

The case clips and case handle are also new and are sympathetic to the original in this lovely circular (parabolic) design.

The 1950s control unit has a brown bakelite fascia with the following controls

• A main Power dial. For the technically minded this dial operates a potentiometer, giving a smooth graduation from low to high +

• A Fifteen Minute timer - useful for keeping track of things. Power is cut off when the timer expires and you simply re set for anything from one to fifteen minutes at a time.

• Voltage selector switch. By default this is set to 240V (UK and Europe) but you can select the 120V option for North America. The machine will always work a little better on the 240V option so we provide a small transformer for our American customers.

Naturally we have checked out the electrics and carried out a complete electrical restoration, double insulated interior, new cables, capacitor and re built the potentiometer to give a more useful and wider range of power from very low to high.
